I can explain the first question with pretty good detail. He's a kid himself, but in the Millenium Puzzle around his neck is contained the spirit of an ancient pharoah. In duels, he allows the pharoah to play for him because the pharoah(named Yami) was alive during the time that the mosters were real in Egypt, therefore he is more experienced. The fact that it looks like he's older is because Yami happens to look a lot like Yugi.

to your second comment, you'll have to earn Eevee's trust. I'm the only 1 she ever trusted on first sight. Why I don't know, but when we(latios, latias, and I) found her, we got her out of a trap she was caught in and she would only let me be the 1 to bandage her leg. she'd try to crawl away with her 3 good legs when Latios or Latias came close, but she'd just sit there when it was me. She came to trust them in time, but you still need to earn her trust.

(remember she's young. She doesn't understand evolution yet.)

You see, when your trainer, or to you Kratos, and you become so friendly with each other, something will happen. You will evolve into an Espeon(like me) or an Umbreon, unless, of course, Kratos evolves you before then using one of the stones.

Eevee:"Oh. I'm not sure I'm ready to make that big a change yet."
Kratos:"It's ok, Eevee. You're still too young. You won't have to worry about changing for a while."

*Grins* And if you don't want to evolve, I'm sure Kratos won't make you.

kratos:Of course I wouldn't. Even if she you accidently came in contact with one of those stones, I'd go as far as to go back in time to change you back.

Eevee:Ok. *smiles at espegirl*

(stepping out of character) She's starting to warm up to you some.

*winks back at Kratos* You're it! *tags Eevee then bounds away a few feet*

eevee:"I'm gonna catch you." *chases espegirl* manages to tag her tail. "Tag, now you're it." *Runs the other direction.*

eevee:It's okay. It's all better now. Kratos can make any ouchy better with the light from that staff.

Eevee:Actually, I think I want to try battling once.
Kratos:Are you sure? Battles aren't easy.
Eevee:Yeah. I've seen other pokemon battle and you said you'd battle alongside me one day.
Kratos:Well, true, I did, but I don't want to force Espegirl to battle if she doesn't want to and I don't have anything lined up for you as an opponent.

kratos:Well, Espegirl, if you don't mind, then it looks like Eevee has an opponent after all.

*gets blown off feet* Good choice, Ghost(it is Ghost right?) is good against Phychic. *trying to inform Eevee the best I can*

Clone Kratos: She had a secret weapon hidden in that attack in case she missed. Ok, Eevee, use Swift.
Eevee:*Sprays shurikens like the stars of swift.*
Clone Kratos: I said Swift, not Shuriken Swift. That's a last resort attack. Espegirl, you'll want to dogde those. Those are real shuriken knives.
