PokemonUSA, Inc., a worldwide leader in trading card games, today announced the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) Regional Championships. Regional Championships provide TCG players the opportunity to earn a Travel Award to play in the U.S. Pokemon TCG National Championships in Columbus, Ohio, on July 7<SUP>th</SUP> and 8<SUP>th</SUP>. Pokemon TCG tournaments and leagues test a player’s Pokemon TCG skills, strategy, and creativity, and the Pokemon TCG National Championships is open to all participants.

First-place winners in each division receive a Regional Championships trophy, a Travel Award to the 2007 Pokémon TCG National Championships, and a scholarship of $1500, along with a cool Pokémon prize kit. Second-place winners receive a scholarship award of $1000, a Regional Championships trophy, and 36 Pokémon booster packs, while third- and fourth-place winners receive a scholarship award of $750, a Regional Championships trophy, and 36 Pokémon booster packs.
