Interesting shit.
All I can say about there predicament is sucks to be them.
They are deciding the fate of the Arab region. They will surely overthrow the government thats not a doubt. Its just whether or not they will become a just democracy where everyone is represents or like the case in Iran and other countries force fed democracy they become a democracy where yes the magority has control but the magority is extremeist. Us not supporting the people is only going to make Eygpt further anti-american.
I thought you were talking about that Internet thing going on over there?

Uh thats just one tiny part of this whole thing.
Yea well it's the only part that gets my attention.
Not the overthrow of a dictatorship that the USA supports and these events will decide the future of the middle east.
No you where worried about interwebing with them.
where's justin to ruin this thread and everything else when you need him?
The people are rioting over the lack of Peeki. They miss him.
*inserts Brendan Fraiser joke*
*troll successful ;)*
keep trying, one day you'll get it right justin.
just don't write something a paragraph long next time, mk?
PS: cool? its funny to piss you off so easily into writing a public diary of how pissed off you are. :p
Assuming this topic actually had a point somewhere... I took a brief interest in this and followed BBC News for a little while. Last I heard the police had given up, the army were reluctant to take on protesters, and the interior ministry was being defended by sniper fire.
they had all communication to the rest of the world torn from them after the first day of rioting.
SHITS ALL FUCKED UP NOW
no
they still have dial up and ham radios
i would totally explain how they don't have internet or an active phone service that wasn't made by the rioters themselves, but i was laughing too hard at their ham radios from the vietnam war that they have to use.
move out of the way truckers Egyptians are taking over the airways
if only anybody cared the slightest bit about egyptians*...
*sand niggers
Pity they make up 60% of thr arab populaion and control the suez canal and are like the only ally there Isreal has. If they where like Tunesia no one would care about them and they could hang there president in peace.
Only thing I'm worried about it if the Suez Canal is shut down and no longer available to us as a trade route. Having to sail around the southern tip of Africa would be very costly, and I for one do not look forward to seeing oil prices go up because of it.
only 5% of the world's oil goes through the Canal so it shouln't increase the price really at all
pity is it will because the economic market is not based on logic
5% of the world's oil isn't 5% of the oil that goes to each country. It'll distort things more than you think.
how so? I think that 5% only goes to Europe
