im playing pokemon emerald and im in slate prot rival battle i have a mudkip and a kadabra and i cant woop his butt help please

DON'T just spam string shot... in theory it's genius... in practice.... not so much.

rival's pokemon take no damage from flash, proceed with caution

so go to the move deleter, and then proceed to teaching all your pokemon rock smash, flash, cut, and if possible, fly

you will be a pokemon master

pants that is a very good set, however i would replace fly with dive cause it's clearly better

but more pokes learn fly then dive.

oh, and avoid stregnth, surf, and waterfall completely.

worst moves in the game

If ONLY you could have.... String Shot, Splash, Flail, and Struggle, you would be nearly invincible.

don't forget to equip a quick claw! best item in the game, all the pros use it.

not as important as Magikarp with the Everstone though.

actually quick claw is honestly great for speed runs. that chance is always welcome ;)

but i think lagging tail is better

Alright, all you gotta do is find a Magikarp that knows splash. I know it sounds difficult, but if you pull it off you'll breeze through the game.

A magikarp once poisoned me... O.O
