The test was insanely easy.. the guy made me go straight, turn right, go straight, stop, reverse straight back a little, and stop. (with appropriate gear changing and everything of course).

Congratulations! How did you do on written part?
apparently she passed or she wouldn't have gotten to the driving part?
Meant her score.
I don't know about where you're from and how it is there, but I got 15/15 on the written part which is mostly identifying road signs and things. I also had an "oral" exam where the old guy quizzed me about hand signals and what to do if I ever need to cross a railway line.
After they approve you in the interview thingy they give you a learners license. I attend a fixed amount of classes, go to the main centre one day, drive the car they give me and earn my driver's license. Pretty much it.
heh, my driving test was 4 right turns and park.
:D
Lol, they make it so easy!!
Apparently my driving instructor that day gave everyone full points as long as their car passed inspection. Maybe he just believes that the stupid kids will kill themselves off in a car crash.
Not bad at all.
My oral examiner was an old old man who smiled at me indulgently and didn't ask much, and kept saying encouraging things like "That's right! :) "
That's nice.
I didn't have an oral test, just a written one.
What kind of stuff did they ask?
haha oral tests
I know. It was lame, especially since the guy was so kind, I think he just let everyone pass.
Also, Rayne, where've you been? Busy with exams?
yeah kinda. they got over a couple days ago.
Ah. Do you drive a car with automatic gears?
@Rayne : Good to hear that. :)
btw where in india do you live / are you from trixie

I really like driving.. It feels relaxing. Of course, I haven't driven in peak traffic yet.
You know, I think that's easy, because the only reason I was slightly worried before the test was because I need to know when exactly to change gears. If they're changed at the wrong moment- slightly earlier or later than they should be- the car stalls.
And if THAT happened, I'd automatically fail my test. Thankfully, it all went smoothly. :D
if you can drive a car in india, you can drive anywhere in the world
Yay! :D
So true, lol.
