I got my driving license!!

i think i'm eligible to start lessons for a "temporary" or "youth" license but it's like a thousand bucks :( iirc they raised the age for a "full license" from 16 to 18 here. man quebec politicians are such pussies

Had my License at 16 or 17... Learned on a standard... can't parallel park for shit.

They didn't make me do that :P

yeah unless you have a dick giving the test, no one is gonna make you parallel park during your driving test. They WANT people to have licenses... cuz licenses usually means cars and cars means something else they can tax.

And if they can tax, who cares about global warming.

that is so annoying. your test is so frickin easy. the test in britain is really difficult. you have to do 40 - 60 minutes of driving with the examiner there, park in 3 different ways, emergency stop and 10 minutes of that you have to remember a 4-5 directions and do it without instruction. So we have to do literally like 50 turns and whatever. its awful

I don't even want a driving licence. It's nigh idiotic to get one since cars cost so much (here, at least. Stupid Singaporean government and their COEs). And I'll rather listen to my ipod than steer behind a wheel. What's with the obsession with driving, guys?

yeah its really awful. the pass rate for driving tests in britain is like.. 45% i think. in a car test centre close to me its 29% pass rate. ridiculous.

I just wanted my driving test over with since my license doesn't expire until I'm 65.

And my town is really spread out and it'd suck to ride a bicycle in 120 degree weather to get to your destination.

Written is really long here, I've seen it. (Not old enough for anything yet) Has a lot of essay questions. Driving test is really simple though.

Instructor: "Where does the key go?"

Someone: "In Here."

Instructor: Whoa! You really studied hard! You get a sticker!"

Someone: :D

Instructor: "Go in and get your License, Tiger!"

Someone: Ok!

Haha, the 'written' test here is all multiple choice questions. :D My dad took it 13 times, randomly guessing, because he couldn't really read English.

He passed on the 14th!

Why would it be in English if you are in Singapore? Shouldn't it be Chinese? Singaporese? (Lol.)
