i dont understand
i'm only referring to one person. my economics teacher told me that she had a dream of one day starting a KFC in this really peaceful suburb in Greater Manchester. and that made me think about how it must be some people's daily routine to imagine erecting KFCs in particular areas.
hicky is upset that many idyllic natural areas are being commandeered for grotesque commercial use
the more depressing thing is that she described setting up a kfc not as an "idea," but a "dream"
effectively, yes. but I don't want to say that for fear of being labelled an anti-capitalist and informed the benefits of globalisation.
on an aside, KFC don't have a very good animal rights policy. they buy chickens from suppliers like Tyson Foods, who just kick the shit out of their chickens until they die. but does this bother people who want to open KFC outlets in tranquil areas? no, it doesn't. she maintains buying chickens which are slaughtered and making them into unhealthy snacks which are blamed for most obesity statistics and are causing people to actually evolve to their unhealthy lifestyles as a "dream", just because it makes money.
are there any kfcs in nigeria? thats a totally untapped niche market!
KFC have 600 stores in Africa actually, including Nigeria
a cool thing about living here in the uae is stringent distribution of halal meat. not that it affects me directly in any way but its effective in getting vegans online who try to guilt me into giving up eating meat to shut up.
they should start a KFC in Somalia and see how quickly the people behind the counter start to supply pirate crew
Those people who sit down in Starbucks with laptops out, look across the street, and think, "Man that would be a good place for a Starbucks."
There's a street here with MacDonalds directly opposite Pizza Hut and a KFC next to it.
The mall near my home has McDonalds, Mos Burger, Subway, Delifrance, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Long John Silvers and Wendys all in a row.
I got a hunch that the KFC Double Down was banned from being sold here. :(
I have a dream.
A dream where I build my own megamall
My 93 year old great grandma loves KFC. She goes there at least once a week.
the mall near my house has kfc, burger king, mcdonalds, subway, chillis, papa johns pizza, new york fries, hardees and around ten other fast food outlets and restaurants
Hahaha, malls are filled with all these fast food chains and food courts anyway.
But we also have individual KFCs and MacDs on random streets.
I feel so ashamed!
I can't even eat KFC anymore without my body telling me "Stop it! This stuff is crap!"
It's only a matter of time before I start hating Taco Bell :(
IndisPutably. Where else am I going to get my daily serving of Silicon Dioxide & Beef?
Amen.
I don't know. I went to Taco Bell, and it's like a slightly different version of standard indian food- watered down. It's not that great imo.
Or maybe they tried to bring in "local flavours" which just makes us bored with it because we eat that kind of stuff all the time.
ive never been to taco bell
