Pretty much the whole 'move on and don't dwell on it' advice is what I recommend. I know it's hard to just forget everything that happened in that year, but you don't necessarily have to forget it, just learn from it. There will be others; that's the advantage of being young right now.

Take it from someone who is in a similar situation, but on the other end. I'm sure if she had any kind of heart, she wouldn't want you to be upset and dwell on her forever.
