How is the transition from feudalism to capitalism any more "natural" than capitalism to socialism? In fact, how could any change in economic systems be considered natural at all?

im todays global economy thats biased towards capitalism shifts from pure socialism to pseudo-capitalism are natural, and quite common. india is one country that calls itself socialist but is actually more capitalist than anything.

Right, it would be more natural in this day and age for capitalism to replace socialism, but I was more getting at comparing feudalism>capitalism to capitalism>socialism. Marx wasn't getting at it that a proletarian revolution was natural, as Hicky described it; being consistent with the previous system. He was saying that it was just something inevitable that would arise in all capitalist states. Now granted, I do not agree with that considering the progress capitalism has made, but in Marx's time it would have been more probable.
