I wanna know what's the next rising industry in some rising country so I can just invest in it and earn billions. It's like legal lotto, I think.
When I was in the ICSE system,(uptil tenth grade), the English standard was very high, and I loved it. Doing the next two years under the state syllabus was terrible, as far as English went, the teachers knew nothing and the textbook was like a sixth grade textbook :-/
Completely agree with Rayne, english teachers, at least here, suck in general.

also now that i think about it my teacher has them we just dont use them
english textbooks with short stories and poems from which they pick out obscure lines and and passages to ask questions on in the 'literature' portion of the exam?Quote:

We had Julius Caesar and stuff before the tenth.
In the next two years we just had "short stories" that were literally 3 pages in the textbook. Guess what subject was the most boring.
