Instruments
What instruments do you guys play? I played violin when I was really little, then the piano, which I stopped a few years back because the stress of the competitions was too much (not to mention how long I had to practice each day...urgh), and then I was in the music class at my school, and I played the flute. I switched to art this year though. I really miss my orchestra. :(
What about you guys?

played clarinet for a year in band... I sucked. Taught myself a tiny bit of the harmonica.... REALLY wish I could play the banjo.
-
I used to have a lovely acoustic guitar that I would play during long nights. Used to...until I accidentally smashed it to pieces by falling on it after a really, reallly hard day. Man, I would play that things for hours on the front porch when I couldn't sleep.

i play the guitar and drums. intermediate/advanced level on both i guess but my guitar prowess exceeds my drum skills because i havent played as much over the past year. ive been starting to get back into it though. im also hoping to learn the piano/keyboard at one point.
-
I play piano, which I then pretend is a guitar or drums or something.
-
In the order I learned them:
-Drums (I can play the set, but prefer the snare alone.)
-Glockenspiel (It's like a xylophone.)
-Violin (Nothing special.)
-Flute (My preference.)
-Piano (Just the basics.)
-Guitar (I can strum a few chords and pick a few tunes, but I sucked too much to really put the effort in.)
I can also play a bit on the pennywhistle, though I need practice.
-
starting by chronological order of attempt and mastery:
-keyboard/piano
-baritone/euphoneum
-guitar
-bass guitar
-marimba
-trombone
-percussion theory (drums)
vocals dont count, but yeah

I played piano for about 4 years. I went through 6 teachers in that time span. 4 died and 2 moved out of state. Then i took guitar for 7 years. In my 7th year my teacher told me he felt bad for taking my money and just couldn't do it anymore. I was apparently terrible. He told me I had a lovely singing voice though and a good ear. I should just stick to that.

I'm decent with a clarinet, though I would like to learn how to play an accordion one day. They're my favorite instrument, with fiddle in a close second. :D
-
Alto sax seven years, I'm nice. I probably should have went to a music school, I probably would have finished.
-
I've been playing the guitar for the past 3 years, but I only really made any progress in the past year or so. Name a Linkin Park song, and I can probably play it XD
-
but can you play good music valkyria?
-
said this a thousand times already but i'm pretty good on a drumset, though my rolls and technique aren't that good. i'd love to play the piano/keys and guitar too, but for now i suck.
