i wonder if the japanese sensor their keyboard then? i can't see them printing out swear words onto every keyboard.

well I don't know a lot about the Japanese language, but I think only really simple words like water, love, or air, get their own distinct letters, other words are like combinations

I also believe they don't use traditional letters usually on the internet, that much be a professional keyboard for like a Japanese script person

the one above is a crazy chinese keyboard. a japanese keyboard can use english letters to convert to japanese writing, but I don't think the chinese have an easy way to do that.

japanese has a more alphabet type orthography. i think they do have a more formal orthography more like chinese though but mostly use their alphabet.

If you are using a Japanese keyboard, you can type

'massuguike'

and if you press the space bar it converts to まっすぐ行け
