Stay safe guys.
my school didnt close 2day, there tryin to avoid adding more days on our vacation, so we stay till 12, then head home (considered a school day wen school has a lunch period) so hopefully i wont be walking in the high winds, that wont be fun.
Once again your utter stupidity amazes me. Yes rain water is drinkable, so is sea water and river water. It doesn't mean it's clean and a safe solution. Shit will be whipped around by the wind, particles from the dirt, the ground, the street, shit even some irradiated shit still floating around from Fukushima will all be present in rain water from the storms. Buying bottled water in ANY potential natural disaster is one of the smartest things you can do for the survival of yourself and your family.
The only feasible safe way for the majority to drink it is to catch it first and boil it in a filtered kettle or water purifier and most of those now need electricity, which you won't have in a scenario where you need to be drinking rain water to survive.
Rainwater is generally much cleaner than most other sources of water including tap water.
I have a gas burning stove.
and your delusional if you still think that there is any harmful amount of radioactivity in rain water
you're.
I didn't say it was harmful amounts captain autist.
then why would of mention it?
You claimed rain water was cleaner/safer than coke, it's not.
All you really need to filter it is something like this:

But it really is much easier to buy bottled water.
Damn it, lost power.
your computer is stronger than cut power lines!
My computer is powered by awesomeness rays, it doesn't bow to the availability of electricity!
fuck the [electrical] system
