The Medici: Godfathers of the Renaissance
So fun to watch that I still go on youtube to watch it every once and a while. Seen it several times through.
A History of Britain by Simon Schama
900 minutes of British history... and I watched all of it... >_>
The Lion King
a lot of louis theroux's documentaries, which seem to be harder to find on youtube nowadays. favorites: black nationalism, philadelphia crime, american secessionists.
the best part about louis theroux is he acts like a totally clueless emissary from the civilized world, who has no idea why the american things he profiles are so ridiculous.
The Lion King 2
that one was too realistic. documentaries need some flair.
You're right, The Jungle Book.
Does "how its made count"?
"Planet Earth" was cool, but everybody's seen that.
the later episodes of planet earth were pretty lame if I remember correctly literally the only cool thing about "seasonal forests" was when the cicadas mated and everything ate them
i couldnt watch any of them for more than 2 minutes
I loved the deserts episodes, those camels were so bad ass.
kimjongilia
there is a fun documentary by the bbc about the british team who go to the major high school international math competition. its less gay than it sounds and is actually very character-centered.
