Eh, I think my school is in the minority for this.
I don't even do anything but download a couple songs from youtube a month, I just don't like people rifling through my shit.

It is. The real estate around here is rather high due to the location. Even so, there are definitely houses within a student's budget, I just prefer being on campus because I didn't bring my car. There IS an inn nearby that has a going rate similar to the dorm rates, but it's way on the other side of campus...
