I suspect most ninja posting is a purely coincidental occurrence. Lag, simultaneous posting and other factors play a part. To be honest I think increased post breaks are a sign of greater activity...

Yeah. Usually no one posts on the pokemon boards. Though during the golden years of PD (way back in 2005 and some of 2006) they was always over 10 people on. And everyone made solid posts and we became a small family/community.
Now some people have died and others are gone for unknown reasons. Others were sent into exile. But we are still holding on! :)
