An Emmy for Nintendo
That's right! Nintendo won an Emmy! But why did it win an Emmy? The answer is simple, my friend. They won it for their invention of the plus shaped directions pad. it was a "technological achievement" that "radically changed how people interact with their video games and, by extension, their televisions." Nintendo was awarded the Emmy during the Technological & Engineering Emmy Awards, which occurred in Las Vegas.
The conventional D-Pad was introduced in 1985. It replaced the common joystick and was soon found on ever game controller.
“Nintendo has long been a pioneer in the way that people interact with their games,” said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. “Our commitment to pushing the envelope continues today with our motion-sensitive Wii Remote controllers, which again rewrite the rules. We are grateful for this award and thank the academy for the honor.”

I get seriously mad whenever my older brother says *insert Down-Syndrome-esque voice* "Microsoft is better than Nintendo! Nintendo sucks!" That's usually when I say, "You suck worse than any video game company ever could!" (And that's sayin something) then he throws back something weak. >.>

Sony is over-rated money-grabbing scum that barely reaches the title of company.
-
Sony should stick to cameras. That's the only place they really seem to have technological talent.

I think PSP was not bad but its hardly affordably by me!
