No, adoption. And that's all Liberal statistics. They don't count. Kelsi call me.

Children raised by gay parents probably TURN OUT okay if they are good parents, but at the VERY least they'll probably be made fun of a lot while children for having gay parents and lots of other stuff could make growing up in that environment a lot more difficult.

people who say that gay marriage ruins the sanctity of marriage are really stupid because marriage in our society right now is in shambles as it is with divorces and step-families and whatnot. I'd rather be raised in a happy, same-sex marriage family than a broken home.

I imagine the kids do get made fun of, but when you think about it, teasing can help kids prepare for adult life because you're not always going to have the parents step in and say "hey that's not nice stop being a jerk to my kid". Kids these days need to learn how to tolerate disappointment and hardships. our society is now based around "okay let's not hurt jimmy's feelings even though it's his fault he sucks". This is why I'm opposed to giving trophies to everyone at the end of a soccer season.

Sorry, I had to put that in

i dont say gay marriage ruins the sanctity of marriage and i think its a pretty stupid thing to say. i dont oppose gay marriage because there's no reason to, but i favor civil unions more so people dont bitch.

theres a difference between kids calling someone "FOUR EYES" and making fun of them for having homosexual parents. big difference really. its like racism, no one thinks its benificial for a kid to not be allowed to go to a doctor in the south in the 50s and that it would make him MAN UP FOR THE REAL WORLD. big difference in the kind of 'teasing' we're talking about

I wasn't implying that you think gay marriage ruins the sanctity of marriage; I suppose you could say I was bringing up a new point. And yes, there is a line to which adults must intervene in teasing, but I think that kids have to learn to stand up for themselves to a certain degree even for teasing about having homosexual parents.

I don't like people that are flamboyantly gay people. Those are the ones that seem to want attention.

As for Obama's experience, bush was govenor for i think 6 years then went for president. If it's more than a year as govenor or senator i think that's qualified, you learn all the workings that you need to and sometimes you don't get corrupt like Obama. Fresh winds are good!

I'm probably going with McCain though, not entirely sure.

agree'd. It's all about advertising, really. If you can show an anti gay person that you are almost exactly the same as a straight person, then it would help the cause, I'm sure. It's the women who are basically men and the men who are basically women that make people afraid.

i like flamboyantly gay people because they are entertaining and humorous

'normal' gay people are boring. its like you get the negative of them being FREAKS without the positive of being able to laugh at them. awful really.

I'm feeling Obama, to be honest.

people talk about having gay radars and such but I honestly couldn't pick out a flamboyantly gay person from across the room even if my life depended on it. I don't look for those sort of things. I've met some really gay people in my life, and eventually the topic of them being gay comes up, and my reaction is always the same: "You're gay?!" And of course everyone around me always knows and I'm the only one who couldn't tell.

so true, that's why homophobia should be treated just like racism.

separate but equal is a relic of the past and only caters to the privileged. segregation failed miserably and doing the same to gay people isn't going to have any different result.

I have an arguably conservative view on our military and foreign policy, but really anyone who doesn't favor a strong military is about as bad as the pre-WW2 isolationists. I am fine with cutting our military for sure, but we still need a strong presence.

We already have the strongest military presence on the planet, now I just feel like we're gloating.
