I've seen it. It's a good movie. Apparenty Studio Ghibli makes great animated movies.

hayao miyazaki is pretty much indisputably one of the top 3 film directors across any type of film style/genre/nationality/whatever.

I MAY NOT BE LM BUT I MOST DEFINITELY HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH HER

Howl's Moving Castle really is a piece of cinematic talent, saw it on DVD. If I remember correctly it's a more recent film from Studio Ghibli. Hayao Miyazaki also did Spirited Away Laputa and all that. Seen Porco Rosso or Grave of the Fireflies? Probably my two favourite films from him, but I love pretty much everything he does.

    Watched it.

It's one I won't shy from watching again, that's for sure.

Has anyone heard about the newest film from Studio Ghibli that's supposed to be released sometime this year? Well anyway, Laputa and My Heighbour Totoro were really beautiful, and Grave of the Fireflies made me bawl my eyes out, it was amazingly moving.

This movie is definitley one of my favorites. I love the animation and the story telling of the all the Studio Ghibli films. It took me a while but I finally found copies of this movie, Princess Mononoke, and Nausicaa: and the Valley of Wind at FYE. Yay for Miyazaki movies!

LM = Leader Marina, for all the younger members.

I loved Howl's Moving Castle! Grave of the Fireflies was amazing, too... I cried. Spirited Away had one of the strongest plots, from my POV. And Castle in the sky; can't resist the music, either. Princess Mononoke = <3. Nausicaa, however, was not really my taste.

Yeah, I saw the British version of Tales from Earthsea. It wasn't as great as other Studio Ghibli films, but Miyazaki's son will get better.

I planned on watching Grave of the Fireflies sometime in the near future. Thus far, I've only seen Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle, both of which I loved.

I've seen Laputa (Castle in the Sky), Spirited away, Howls Moving Castle, and Kiki's Delivery Service. From the feedback I've seen so far, I should rent Grave of the Fireflies in the near future.

I need to see Kiki's Delivery Service. EM's visiting in a week, and we plan on having an anime night. We should rent it.
