nah I'm ambiwar... This particular war we could definately do without. Now that we've started it, unless we want to be viewed as week an preyed upon by other nations, then we need to finish it. And the only way to finish it will be to do really horrible stuff involving no tolerance destruction of places.. then LEAVe, not try to set up governments that we want, let the people there decide how to rebuild on their own. Since WWII United States has PAID for the other people to fight wars against them, and it's screwed us.

I say again, we shouldn;t have gone into this war, but now we've got to get out of it without making our nation look weak, because other nations will prey on us if we do.

No I'm saying it doesn;t cost much and risks very little of OUR people to drop automated bombs on key locations and then leave. The country has been reduced to the point where it won;t be able to mount an effective countermeasures against us for sometime. The only reason our people are in danger is because we're still there. I agree on that. But until we do something decisive to make it seem like a victory people will still support it. It's a pyrric victory right now, we got what our leaders want but until we can actually say we did something people will say the US wussed out if we just leave. And at this point, I'm fairly okay with that, but from a national standpoint, we DO need to attempt to look like a strong nation.

In the meantime, the US should look to using some OTHER means of getting fuel in case the guys that we ticked off by blowing up their houses and their buddies DO cut off our access in the middle east.


Also we should make stuff more often. People need jobs.

And there shouldn;t be a double standard. Me, I don;t particuarly LIKE abortions but they're legal, and in some cases, medically necessary. Blowing them up is the same thing as an abortion.

Except: A.) Aborted babies won't have a chance to grow up and do things AND B.) Aborted babies won't have to put up with the current less than wonderful state of the world.

Of course Abortion clinic bombings are a LITTLE bit worse at the very least because, you're killing LOTS of people instead one person (which according to some arguably doesn;t even count as a person yet) and, what if there are women waiting to get their abortions when you blow it up. Wouldn;t that mean you're doing the abortionists job for him? Only in a less moral way?
