    Because the idea of sPending eternity in pardise after you die is preferable to a) burning in hell for eternity and b) just completely ceasing to exist. And if you want to keep the legions of sheep happy, you pretend to believe whatever they do.

    Yeah, Lincoln was a good president in my opinion. I agree, why should religon matter in politics? For example, my friend freaked out when she thought Obama was a Muslim. She's a really strong Christian and was saying that "He'd probably deny Christ." Now that made me mad. I'm a Christian too, but just because some Muslims are bad, doesn't mean that all of them are bad. Besides, Obama isn't a Muslim anyway. Even if he was, I wouldn't care 'cause not all Muslims are bad.
