trading from g/s to d/p

well like the name suggest i was wondering if it was possible if you trade pokemon originally from g/s to d/p
if anyone knows please post

G/S/C are just plain not compatible with any other generation of Pokemon games besides Generation I because the data structure and a ton of other technical nonsense changed between the generations, so yeah, it's impossible.
