How to get the most out of my game

Hey, i have pokemon Ruby, and i just wonderd what you think is best about that game, and what you enjoyed doing in it. Also im kind of a noob, i restarted my game and im trying 2 catch Groudon without useing the master ball, im going 2 try use attract, and with the same pokemon try paralize it and do as much stat damage as i can, thn weaken it with my Swampert. Any help would be awsome, and i might buy another game, but i dont know what 1, what do you think? =D

1st: train your pokemon as much as you can.
2nd: get as many hyper ball as possible.
3rd: There's a trick how to chatch pokemon easier. Throw the ball and hold L.
When the pokemon is in the ball realease L and press A a few times.(Only works with pokeballs, superballs and hyperballs)

ah, good point, then in that case... is there a move that will protect a pokemon for more than 1 turn?, because groudon always strikes 1st when i bring in a new pokemon

I cant catch groudon without the masterball, i have tryed useing my gloom with a quick claw and useing sleep powder on it, thn decrese its accaracy so it cant hit me, but it still hits me everytime!, dosent sand attack work when the foe is asleep?

Aha! yes i got him!!!, i just used sleeping powder and used 2 ultra balls on him =D!!, it says he took sleep after a cataclysmic battle with Kyogre. Do u guys know who won?

It wasn't on ruby. it was on crystal. Oh yeah, I almost finished the unown mystery on crystal.

I dont know. u just have to solve the puzzles and unown will come. I caught every single unown. There's a legend that a strange unown will appear when u solve the riddle, but I never saw it. Because I never finished the puzzle.

Woa! you talking about the unown puzzle got my on my pokemon silver, and i caught another unown, i got only 3 now thn this dude upgraded my pokedex. Im gonna try get them all.

the last two puzzles. There was something with water and something with
ho-oh. I finished the puzzles but on crystal there are some unown on the wall.
If you know what it means you just have to show the item/pokemon or use the attack. My friend said something about the water stone, but i naever tried to evolve a pokemon with the water stone.

Oh one more thing. for all who are reading this: Go to the unown ruins and turn on your radio. Then search for a channel named or something.
While hearing it every rare unown will appeare.

Awsome, i have never heard of any puzzles =/ only those tablets you have to move around to create a picture of an anchint pokemon, and iv done those, i also noticed that there is a cave enterance behind a big boulder south of the reserch centrer on the ruins of alph bit. but how do you get there?!

Endure the time to catch groudon. If you think it's long enough use timer ball. And there it is fresh from team magma.You can buy Timer ball from Rustboro market. And I use Timer ball to most of my legendaries.
(You need at least 20 turn to make timer ball catch rate stronger than Hyper Ball)
