Kids are being taught to be factory workers. They aren't being taught anything about economics of any value, nor are they taught logic and critical thinking skills. The education system needs an overhaul to catch it up to the modern way of making a living.

Sometimes I wonder if you are constantly just trying to be wrong
i've stopped wondering that a while ago and pretty much accepted it
the primary goal of schools should be, of course, an education. languages, cultures, history, the arts, mathematics, sciences. of course there SHOULD be more career-specific concentration at the high school level, but students should be learning lots of shit, to be better informed about the world in general.

I retook the test from an entirely economic point of view where applicable.
I found however, the questions it asks are loaded. I'll give a few examples.
"Controlling inflation is more important than controlling unemployment."
This is not an agree or disagree question, it's a misinterpretation of basic economic principles. The two are inherently intertwined. Considering it conjures unemployment (something everyone is aware of) and inflation (something few understand) it could be considered an appeal to consequences.
"It's a sad reflection on our society that something as basic as drinking water is now a bottled, branded consumer product."
This has nothing to do with economics, it's an appeal to ridicule based off of perceived greed in corporations. An equal yet opposite argument would be "It's a sad reflection on our society that consumers demand something as basic as drinking water be bottled, branded and sold."
"Land shouldn't be a commodity to be bought and sold."
Wishful thinking, it's another loaded question that appeals to the emotion of a "perfect world", without insinuating that you think about the consequences logically. It's the kind of question that if someone would "Strongly Disagree" *they* would be the ones spotlighted and forced to give an explanation, because the question suggests otherwise.
All in all, it's no wonder people inherently tend to drift left and down on the map, the questions are asked in such a way. You have to be consciously thinking about both sides of the coin to even be considered a centrist.

I dislike this question:
"The freer the market, the freer the people."
It's way too vague, I've always thought it was very difficult to argue otherwise anyway. Having the public sector control everything leaves questions such as, "How much did it cost to produce x" and "Who would be willing to pay for x?" to be difficult to answer, theoretically limiting our freedom in a way that's completely unquestionable.
The question seeks to use the fact that 'freedom' can't be measured, and gives left wingers a reason to denounce themselves as such. The question is merely, "Are you left wing?"

Muslimtry. Although my view has changed since then. I doubt I really had a developed opinion other than that Muslims seem to be dominating the private sector employment and they were less efficient than white people.
