Really? Because the generally accepted founding date of the Roman kingdom is commonly accepted as 753 BC and the Western Roman Empire officially collapsed in 476 AD when Odoacer captured it. However, the Byzantine Empire, also known as the Eastern Roman Empire, lasted until 1453 when a bunch of Turks captured it.
