What are the best moves for Ninetails?

I want a ninetails in my team but I'm not sure what moves to teach it. Apart from the usual learnable moves, my vulpix (newly breeded--lv 5 at the moment) also has hypotise and faint attack after I crossed it with some other pokemon. Poochyena, I think. So you can recommend those two moves for my Ninetails too if you think that they are good.

Please also say what stats I should train it in and what nature it should have too! I'm no newbie at playing pokemon, but I still have zero idea how to find good moves. Mainly my attack strategy is brute force. Hopeless, aren't I?

Don't evolve vulpix in a low level! Because from what I know pokemon that evolved by an evolutionary stones won't learn any single move but guess I'll put a standard flamethrower

Ninetails have a big problem with their attack level soo guess you can start to train her.

Overheat&Fireblast are some good moves to teach her I always teach Overheat&fireblast to my Vulpix before I evolve it to ninetails.

with the exception of the eevee-lutions, it's true. pokemon evolving by stone learn NO moves by lvl up.

personally, i'd recommend flamethrower, dig, faint attack(pair female nintales/vulpix with a male skitty[learns faint attack lvl 27] to get this), and hyper beam or facade(lean towards facade if you still have the TM)

give me a minute to figure out which nature would be best

in order to work on attack most effectively, capture 1 with a brave or lonely nature. brave causes speed to rise more slowly, and lonely slows down defense, but both increase attack.

And all my vulpixes have faint attack and hynosis. And they are lv 5. I can do EV training for attack if it's that important but right now I don't see the point.

I know that, and only 4 eevee it's better to evolve 'em sooner. Thee quicker the better 4 eevee

Balance! Balance is important' And sure vulpix have more moves with sp. atk than ordinary attack but 'better safe than sorry'

aim for Attack or speed EVs; speed if it's a priority and attack if you want balance. It will take careful breeding if you want a high attack 9tails without having to sacrifice any stats.

and you should evolve as SOON AS POSSIBLE!! As the stats go up more; even with EVs, it is important.

im pretty sure Sp.Attack is a whole bunch more important for Ninetails.
also, heat wave is one of the best fire moves a Vulpix/Ninetails can learn but im not sure if u can breed for it (when u snag a Vulpix in XD:Gale of Darkness it has it).

fire spin and flamethrower is a must have *in my opion*

but heat wave has an attack of 100 as opposed to flamethrower's 95 and heat wave hits 2 enemies although im not sure whether it gets halved or not (like surf).
