firstly, mario, except in my first reply to your post, i wasn't speaking to you.
secondly, pardon me, but i'm perfectly calm. did you expect open arms and kisses? i can't believe that you did. if you really cared if people were mad at you, you would likely not make your first response to their introduction insulting. you might even give people a chance before assuming they are (and accusing them of) being ignorant.
other than insinuating that your behavior was judgemental and i didn't appreciate it, i haven't picked on, made fun of, or said anything bad about you. if and when i do, you can tell me so. if I had made fun of someone new to a place, i would expect them to dislike it. if you didn't, i'm terribly sorry, perhaps further study in social mores would help.
thirdly, while it is my prerogative to be angry, upset, pissy, or any other adjective you care to attach to my distaste for being treated in a manner i did not consider respectful, it really is just distaste. i bear you no ill will, i was simply thanking Ed for his chivalry and letting him know that i appreciated it. as far as i know, the matter will be closed as soon as you drop it.
