My cousin's kid (who is also my cousin) is having his birthday party tommorrow. My cousin is more or less the closest thing I have to a brother, so we're fairly close. My first real thread on here is about him. Dunno if you ever read it, but it's some interesting stuff. Maybe I'll look for a link to it. So my parents and Alora and I are driving up there this afternoon.. it's about a six hour drive. and I'll be in the backseat of the truck... the seats in the back are about as wide as one of a skinny white girl's buttcheeks.
Dose are some small SMALL seats then.
So.. this weekend was so so, went to two kids birthday parties, had to ride about 12 hours in the tiny backseat of a pickup truck. The real excitement was Saturday night though.
Went out with my cousin Jeff (y'know the one with the nasty divorce when I joined PD?) decided to go to the MinkEye... it's a little bar in downtown El Dorado... met some of his coworkers there... including one of the head guys at his company, and their internation sales guy: Jesus. After a few drinks we moved over to Einstein's a little club next door. Had a few drinks there too... met a smokin hot blonde named Lauren but unfortunately, Tim on of the head honchos were Jeff works bet Jesus that he couldn't get with her... and so she went home with Jesus... bummer. Anyways... I went outside for a smoke (yeah I know, nasty habit) and there was this girl walking down the street yelling "Someone get this Jerk away from me!" And then this guy ran up and smoked her in the face. Now I feel real guilty for not tackling the guy right then and there but seeing as how I'm basically a single dad and an out of towner I couldn't get arrested. So I just followed her... cuz the guy was too. Eventually he took her phone away, broke it in half and when I came up he started to run off. Well anyways. I helped her look for her phone then walked with her until her ride got there. Stalker Assguy was still following her around, but he didn't come close while I was around. well her ride got there... and she got taken away safely. So I guess I possibly prevented her from getting raped or killed.
After that, Jeff had to drive some girl's truck home for her cuz she was starting to get sick. Ina flash of brilliance he made one of his less intelligent moves and told me to drive his car and follow them. (This was after a glass of absinthe, four rum and cokes and a crown and coke... for somereason EVERY time I try to order a rum and coke at a bar they try to give me a crown and coke) well.. despite his foolishness, I was a little sobered up from worrying about some girl getting attacked, and we all made it home fine.
He's comin down THIS weekend for CoastCon... Good Times.
