The Weirdest Thing Happened Today

Okay. So I haven't played my Majora's Mask game in years, and since I've never beaten it before I had to urge to finally witness the end for myself.

Well... I put the cartage in the system and turned it on. Yay. Intro. Then I get to the files and... There is no saved data. Huh. I distinctly remember I had at least one file that was one step away from being beaten (all I had to do was enter the moon at that point). That was strange and it made me a little frustrated.

So I figured I had to beat the game from the top. Here's where the epic glitch happens.

First cutscene: horse stolen blah, blah-- ... Hey wait a minute! I looked at my item buttons and all three of them had the ocarina symbol on them. Err... That's odd. And when I pressed any of the buttons the bars would come up and Link would have the ocarina despite it being STOLEN.

Then I pressed start and my whole inventory was full of ocarinas.

Then I pressed Z and the screen that showed what masks you had were full of ocarinas too. O_o

Everything else happened normally; Link got turned into a Deku, Tatl joined up~ The works.

Okay. Happy Mask Salesman is creepy and he made the glitch... More glitchy. He did his speech of "Oh woe is me my mask is gone" and then...

And then he stops and I'm supposed to go out and rescue my ocarina even though I have fifty of them. So I SKIP THE FIRST THREE DAYS by talking to the salesman again and I'm not a Deku anymore! (The mask replaced one of the ocarinas)

At this point I was too freaked out about what just happened. (Tatl even talks about how her brother said something in a cutscene that never occurred).

So I restarted the system and lo and behold, there's my savefile: save and sound.

And that's what happened.

Maybe it was the fact that I was using the limited edition gold cartridge... O_o

Ah, I forgot one other thing, I had no hearts as well. That's why I turned it off. xD

Sewing machine, UPS van, driver, and police were all photoshopped into this picture. Look at the grass above his left arm, it cuts into the sidewalk. Now go find the one with Vader purifying the ocean, that one is legit.

Seriously. I bet I find glitches in game that aren't even supposed to have glitches.

It makes video games much more fun, that's for sure! :3

You'd be an amazing Quality assurance tester, that's for sure. You'd make sure a game was glitch-proof

I do have a pong game on my atari thing. Perhaps I should give that a go.

There was a point in time where I thought being a quality tester would be pretty sweet. Maybe I should look into it more.

HA HA HA H AH HA HA HA HA! You'll come back with like 20 almost impossible glitches by accident, you'll be bouncing a paddle around with a ball or something somehow

You do it most of the time anyway, so you'd be perfect for the job, getting paid to do what you do anyway, sounds good to me

I would do it too if I knew how to get into it for a good company, playing good games

You know what's weird though... I've never found a glitch in pokemon games. I couldn't even find Missingno on my brother's red version even though I did everything I was supposed to do.

I guess I can't do forced glitches...

I can post the glitch I got during Fable II where my dog got stuck to the wall and didn't come back until the cutscene where he died. xD
