The three seconds it took for him to get through 'responsibilities' were the most uncomfortable part of the vid. That being said, that little girl is such a brat for not being appreciative of the fact that her daddy had to walk to school uphill both ways while holding down 5 full time jobs and going to college. Daddy on the other hand is something of an idiot but hey whatever works for your kid. But at least he didn't shoot her over FB. I'll give him points for that.
Just do it.
you hit your own television?
I had a hard time watching this.
reminded me of my dad when he got pissed ;_;
Also this is not good parenting.
This is stooping down to his kid's level. A parent shouldn't have to belittle their child and use a gun to make a point. A parent should be able to talk to their kids and understand that teenagers blow everything out of proportion; this post was likely a spur of moment, just as this video was.
Now, instead of giving her time to mature and appreciate the things her parents have given her, she is only going to become more rebellious. This is a prime example of no communication from either of them, and their relationship is probably ruined forever. You have to have your kid WANT to be a better person, not humiliate them to the world to force them to change their attitude. Punishment only represses bad behavior, it doesn't cure it.
The best thing would've been to have the father read the comment to his daughter, privately. And to have her look at her chores as not punishment, but a positive exercise for her becoming a stable adult. He needed to put his foot down yes, but not so extremely forcefully like a gun to his daughter's most prized possession.
High school is different than it was when he was a kid. A high schooler with no internet connection is entirely crippled, both in the fact that she won't be able to type out homework, and because it's the main source of communication between friends when not face to face. It's akin to taking away a 1980s teenager's phone time, or car. Now the girl will have to face both an angry parents and most likely lower grades; that's an extremely stressful situation that no teenager should put up with. In fact, I think if someone saw a father run out and cover his child's car with bullet holes, he would labelled be insane, not an internet hero. But no, this is a laptop, owned by his foolish daughter, so it's different!1

pichubro that post should have been acknowledging the flcl joke instead
I saw it
but I had a moment
ok watching the video that guy is seriously an idiot. its something your fucking daughter wrote to her friends on her FACEBOOK. holy shit who gives a fuck, what a maniac. he should probably be sent to a mental institution.
That's what I said.
The fact that he's being treated as a hero for being an asshole.
Why the fuck does he have exploding hollow point rounds.
This is an ass, case and point.
BTW, what if she doesn't get a job, and refuses to pay him back. What is he going to to honestly, shoot his daughter. Terrible parent.
In some states it is. But guessing by his southern accent, I don't think he lives in one.
Seriously though, those are bullets designed to pierce bullet proof armor and to kill people on sight instantly. It is a weapon on war. That is simply overkill for your standard robber.
Ah sorry, a bit of typical Kirby misinformation. It turns out there can't pierce armor, just maximize the killing of things.
Fun fact, in the UK only polica can use them, to kill attacking animals.
He has a maid that does more work in one day then his daughter in her entire life guys. He has the cash.
He was talking about the bullets being illegal and implying that he might've been in such a state, solly.
Btw, this is western accent, not a southern one. Probably a texan or okie.
Texas is West?
Does that make PA and CT South?
777
Texas is southwest.
Oklahoma is mid-west.
Technically anything west of the Mississippi is "west" except for Louisiana.
