    Hi Im pirateprincess (yets thats a pirates of the carribbean reference but i also loved pirates before that movie and before johnny depp :p) but my real name is Becky.

    I have played pokemon for urmm.... since it was introduced to the UK i guess, i was probably about 7 or 8!? Which is quite scary as I am now 17 and haven't grown out of it!!
    Its just a timeless game though! And they keep bringing out newer and better versions so hey, why not!?

    I'm not new to the whole forum scene so dont worry I'm not a 'ZOMG!!!' retard!

    You dont have to reply to this or anything its turned into a bit of an essay, but I thought I'd introduce myself before I start answering other posts.

    (Oh yehh and sadly the most recent game I have is Leafgreen, because I am not made of money and cannot afford every single incarnation of games console the week it comes out! But I'm getting a DSi for my birthday so then I'll get pearl/diamond or platinum )

    ok finally shutting up now!


    ohh except to tell you my favourite pokemon is..... Charizard, or possibly Blastoise because they are vintage

    Yeah, when you finally get your DS you'll be able to use Wifi to get him, I had never gotten him until then :p

    I dont have it but I was wondering whether the british diamond and pearl still have the Wi-fi/buddy list thing? And can you trade with people around the globe? (I havent got the game yet and only just realised the Wi-fi thing existed)

    Get a DS Lite instead of the DSi.

    You'll be able to trade pokemon from your LeafGreen to your new DS pokemon game then. The DSi won't let you do that.

    I'm pretty sure Platinum has all that too. It's basically Diamond/Pearl with extra stuff tacked on.

    Mostly, we have a handful of brits, a jap or two, a couple people from NZ, and peeki, not sure where he's from. I thing there was also a mexican here at one point. Oh yeah, we also have a couple of canadians.

    I'm not sure about that ed, they say it will play all current ds gamesas well as any new ones, but my friend who has an ar says they have to make a brand new ar just for the dsi. It may be like the gb/gbc. the cartriges were just different enough that you couldn't play color games in the original gameboy.
