    Default I'm back guyz

Did some kayaking (hit a rock in the rapids and flipped), saw a bald eagle, friend got bit by a fish, saw a guy before he died a few hours later, saw another person before they died a few hours later (lots of death this weekend O_o), a vulture came down and scared the living crap out of me, and I ate some steak.

A pichubro weekend in a nutshell.

    Sounds dangerous!

Kayaking never seemed safe to me

I should probably note that I only kayaked on Friday, yesterday and today I was in a motorboat at a different lake.

I've always wanted to visit the Salt River Canyon, around Gila County, The Superstitions and everything! It seems spectacular.

I climbed The Superstitions once (school trip to find real cave-man drawings). They are quite beautiful mountains when it is raining and there are waterfalls around you!

I'd love to climb up there one day. Was that the Flat Iron hiking trail? How long was the hike?

Oh god, that was a while back. I don't think we took Flatiron because we were still kids (I think Flatiron is a little hard for kids), but it was a pretty long hike up there whatever way we went. It's worth it though.

Kayaking is fun but it scares me a little. Like the thought of it flipping over and not being able to get back up/getting tangled in shit while underwater.. that scares me. Otherwise its fun..and builds up a lot of muscle. Did it every month when I was in school

I went kayaking once with a bunch of dumbshits, and none of them really knew what they were doing, so the boat flipped and I hit my nads off of one of the oars the other guys dropped

I've only ever piloted canoes, Those feel slightly more sturdy and the single edge oar feels easier to control, that and I drove a motorboat once, but not for very long, since I was like 8 at the time. I was totally, 100% in control though. I'd never feel safe in a kayak, that and those are easier to get wet in than the other two, and I don't like being wet.

Actually, our kayaks were half-canoes... They just called them "ocean" kayaks. But you sit on top like a canoe and have the maneuverability of a kayak.

    Nice trip.

    I love being wet.
