Bulbasaur because grass types are ,ahem,"da bomb diggity".
I don't usually use grass types, mostly because they aren't very useful in my teams. I always take water, fire and electric if I can, which basically makes half my team specialists in most games, so I prefer to take physical types for the rest: steel, fighting (only Hitmonlee for me, though), poison (I like them) and dark (high physical attack and resistance to psykers). My current sapphire team has two for special, two for physical and two for both. Of course this was all thrown out the window for Gen IV, and this time I was forced to take a grass type due to the lack of availability of Magneton before getting the National Dex, who is pretty much the only electric type I'll use. But enough off topicness.
