I like pokemon too but the show never changed for aging veiwers
I want the show to take things more seriously, of course with some humor still, but I want the show to have more serious topics.
Yeahs its always either
1. Ash is in a new town they dicovered something and team orcket comes to screw things up.
2. Ash dicovers something new and team rocket screw it up
3. Ash does a gym battle and team rocket does soemthing
I dunno. The Pokemon Ping-Pong tournament was a little different.
It was just a contest disguised as a sporting event...
I guess I tend to like the first seasons more because the episodes were a bit more imaginative like with the pink pokemon island or the two dojos fighting each other. But then, I think anyone would run out of ideas after 10+ years... They even repeated the Raichu-Pikachu fight with Pikachu losing, seeing if it wants to evolve, refusing to evolve and then beating the Raichu.
Yeah they need to have more imaginative idea like gaint pokemon island that is one of the good ones.
From the sounds of it, the show is just taking what is happening in the game and basically copy/paste-ing it into a show.
The show had it where Ash & co. were on the SS Ann (Saint Anne on the show) and it sunk. That never happened in the game, which is something I would like to implement into somehow.
The old director is still there, but he's often doing something else the show actually has two directors because of that. The other director is more hands on with the show now than before, which only means someone has to go out and snipe the guy....
Anyway. But yeah. They should have more "what if" situations. Or ways to prevent Ash from obtaining something. Like when Ash had to dress like a girl to fight Erika! That was totally funny... and that was the only pokemon episode that was rate TV-PG because Ash said "crap" but now he say grabage so that it's rated TV-G.
I also remember the episode where Brock got his vulpix. In that episode Brock was talking to the breeder and he accidently said "I want to breed with you...er... I want to work with you to breed pokemon!"
Yeah, some parents got angry with the show. So they had to change it. I've got a recording of that episode on VHS...

Going back to the original topic... For your RTS pokemon game, how many pokemon would you be fielding at once? Because the potential number of units on screen at once is directly proportional to the necessity of mouse control. Also it might work better if you could directly control the pokemon because I don't trust friendly AI. Yeah, uh, just leave all your units bunched together miles from the battlefield while I get cut to pieces by three enemy armies at once. Thanks guys.
It might be nice to pull the games back a bit in terms of increasingly complex item systems. Firstly, lose the hold items. It was a nice idea, but it's not really worth the extra data required which you could use for something else. Next, scrap all the weird evolution requirements. Trading, stones and levelling were fine. Oh, and stop making so many different balls. Most of them are ridiculously specialised anyway (dusk, quick, timer, dive, nest, net, repeat, luxury), one of them is bloody useless (premier) and one is use impaired (heal). Yes, they can be useful at times, but ultimately an Ultra Ball is nearly as effective and less gimmicky.
Eh I have to disagree the duckball is much more usefull that the ultra at night and in a cave catching giratina and heatran was a snap then.
Also hal balls are cool I een found a way to get my newest competitive pokemon in one. (machamp) with great natures ok ivs and nice abilility too
Yes they make it a little easier, but I've had just as much luck using ultra balls against the damn things.
There is no advantage to a Heal Ball. It's just an expensive pink poke ball.

No. Only when you catch it. Which makes the ball practically useless, since there's a pokemon center ever other route.
Not an RTS, but just real time. Remove the turn base in pokemon that's basically what I want-- remove the turn taking.
My brother has an idea for a "Pokemon Tactics" game where there would be 8 pokemon on screen similar to the battle system of FF:TA and pokemon. In addition to a field, there will be elevation so pokemon can use fly and such.
Then there is my Idea of making Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon 3D, but making it more like FF:Crystal Cronicals. I would make it where you can transfer one (1) pokemon from your Pokemon Game to this one and be able to use that pokemon in 3D. You would have complete control of that pokemon and you can equip stuff like armor and other things found in the Mysterious Treasure games. You could also play with friends and gain experience points and Effort Points.
But my real time pokemon game would be like any regular pokemon game (but with an actual 3D worlds since it would be on a home console) and with tons of fun mini games.
The battles would be singles (1-on-1) or double (2-on-2).
I would revamp the Contest Hall.
All Pokemon conditions are being considered and judged at the sametime.
(Whe you enter a pokemon Cute, Cool, Tough, Smart, & Beauty are being judged all at once). Your Pokemon in the end will either be the cutiest of show or the coolest et cetera; that is, if your pokemon's appeal goes well.
Accessories would add to appeal, certain items will be cute, other smart, and so on; this is easy way to gain points, but not to many points will be gained.
Natural appeal is natural condition your pokemon is in, eating Poffins will raise a pokemons condition, but over time the condition will lower and go away. You'll have to feed your pokemon even more poffins to gain the same level condition.
Before the contest you are times (like the usual contest halls of today) but you can either rub the picture of your pokemon to make them sparkle (like your badges when looking at your trainer card).
