Ninja Gaiden was the reason I never sold my original Xbox, because there was just nothing quite like it in terms of extreme challenge on the newer consoles. Ninja Gaiden II is brutal, but Ninja Gaiden Black is far harder. You couldn't use Obliteration techniques on mortally wounded enemies for one thing, which is a mechanic that makes NGII much easier.
