Devil May Cry 4, currently trying to clear the Bloody Palace mode. Got to Stage 89 earlier this evening (there are 101 stages), but got fucked up by the triple Mega Scarecrow and Blitz combination. Argh. I wish more games were as brutally difficult as this one.

I remember seeing the first DMC as a trailer on my friend's PS2 demo disc way back and knew that I HAD to get that game. Definitely was one of the best games I ever played. Haven't played the second or third ones.

    Borderlands is great.

I'm close to finishing Kisuke's storyline in Muramasa.

My only complaint about the PC version is their choice of using GameSpy. I do not see why it's necessary to make a GameSpy account when a Steam account would work fine. It also makes for really annoying server problems.

My friend has been pestering me to get this game for weeks now. Still haven't seen anything new, different or interesting in it that would make it a worthwhile purchase for me, I'm actually pretty sick of shooters and first-person games to be honest. It's more third-person sword/melee play that appeals the most to me at the moment.

I haven't seen many third-person sword/melee games on the market recently. Any examples?

As for Borderlands, I've loved it so far. Sure, the plot is paper-thin, but with the gameplay, I'm actually able to ignore the plot. It takes the fun aspects of FPS games, and combines them with the strategy of instances in games like Diablo and WoW, and then nicely combines it with a very fun loot system. Plus it has a finite backpack, so you can't just walk around with 8 rocket launchers and 20 random shotguns.

    Left 4 Dead 2.

I freaking love it. It has zombies, and it has graphics that make me feel tingly inside.

I don't get L4D2 until Christmas. Sad face.

Playing a couple games right now:

    Resident Evil 4 (Restarted file)
    FFXII (... Restarted file)
    FF Tactics Advance
    FFIII

Look, it's all the FF games I own. :x

Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 are a couple of examples. Both were released last year.

Currently playing Left 4 Dead, trying to complete all the campaigns on Expert. My friend and I (tried it with other players online, but they're so terrible at the game that they struggle on Normal difficulty. Ugh) managed to finish Dead Air on Expert, but I was mobbed by Common Infected a few feet from the goddamn plane because I threw my Pipe Bomb too early. As a result, I missed out on the Zombicidal Maniac achievement. Annoying. Going to give it another go tomorrow.

I wanted to get Left 4 Dead 2, but our Australian Classification Board only accepted an MA15+ version of the game when the violence was toned down (we have no R18 rating ...) This essentially means the Aussie version is a great big pile of censored shit which isn't even remotely worth the ridiculous price of $110. When I get tired of my current games, I may just import the uncut version from overseas.

I've been playing Majesty 2 when I have time... Made it to the last map and I am SO TICKED OFF!!!

So each map is a progressively harder (as makes good sense) but then the last map you have to spend 10-12 hours doing old maps over and over again to level your Lords so that they can take on this Demon dude who comes and wrecks your town every few minutes. It's totally lame. GRR

Yeah, I got the Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii and it's sweet!

I never got into the hype of it all. So now my friends have a plastic Guitar sitting in their rooms.
