I thought that Devil May Cry 4 DMD was brutal, but that's nothing compared to NG2 MNM. Not only do enemies not know the definition of 'respite', but unlike DMC4 enemies, they can attack you while they're off-camera. Can't count how many times I go to dash-dodge only to be grabbed or jumped on by something off-screen. And those fucking Incendiary Shuriken ninjas? Still, this mode is enjoyable. Love spending an hour trying to get past a small gauntlet because it's a lot more satisfying when you finally beat it.

LP2 is awesome, but the AI is retarded for teammates. it's something you need to play with friends.
@ ricatwo it just takes a lot and lot of retries. i remember being stuck at some fights for as much as a couple hours. skipping some TOVs that give you trouble help too. waste of items.

Still focused on Ninja Gaiden 2 Mission Mode at the moment, down to getting gold medals on the final three Survival missions (Scythe, Lunar Staff and Blade of the Archfiend). Would have probably finished this sooner, but the Falcon's Talons and Dragon Sword survival missions were a bitch and a half to get gold on.
Also been playing abit of Portal, trying to clear the advanced test chambers as fast as possible with as few portals and footsteps as possible.

mission mode is awesome. i like how the karma multiplier works. a couple random games i've gotten some high scores because i got a quick 2 or 3 greens. golds piss me off though. one of my best runs in survival was a silver, yet some of my weaker ones were gold worthy.
mmm this settles it. after lost planet 2, and maybe some fallout 3, it's ng2 time. or i might play it on my friends xbox to get him some gamerscore and have a reason to play the campaigns again.
Mass effect. 3rd playthrough on my imported soldier, 4th time beating it overall. 100 hours in so far, and I'm planning on unlocking the last few important acheivements this time around. One of them being the Medal of Valor. ( Beating the game on insanity). Also nearin level 60, should ding any day now. ( the xp gaps are horrendous once you've reached the last few levels)
