    Default Diamond and Pearl

    Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are the 4th generation games. The games were earlier released in Japan this year and are supposed to be release in America April 22nd 2007. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl had the most successful launch week of all games in the Pokémon series in Japan.


    Diamond and Pearl are set in the region of Sinnoh. You start in Futaba Town. The starter pokemon are Naetle, Hikozaru, and Pochama.
    There are five different time periods: morning, day, afternoon, evening and night.
    You also get a new device called the Pokétch, it looks like a wristwatch.
    It's a time management system, a calculator, a method for monitoring Pokémon in the breeding center, a type chart, a radar, a map, an itemfinder, a counter, a wireless link up search, and drawing pad.

    Mine crashes every day When I get internet for my labtop I will be able to write more and better

    I'm first gen(eration) and proud of it. The Pokemon don't even look like Pokemon any more in D/P. I have to admit that Poochama is cute (the penguin), but they look too much like real animals. One reason I like Pokemon is because the creatures don't look much like normal things. I admit that some of the ones up through Jhoto did look like real/mythical creatures (ex: Dragonite) but they didn't look too much like real creatures. I'll try out D/P but if I don't like 'em, I'm sticking to first through third gen.

    I agree with Kiki. Pokemon just don't look like "Pokemon" anymore. They just look really gay. I'm pretty disappointed with the Fourth Generation.

    some of the new pokemon are cool, but they are becoming out of hand. there are a ton of pokemon now and they need to come out with one more solid game like firered and leafgreen. ruby and sapphire sucked in my opinion.
    i want to see or play some of this game to really form an opinion. otherwise, there are just too many monsters.

    Yeah, it's getting a bit that way. Alot of the new pokemon are too cartoonish or something, I don't know what it is exactly but they just don't look right.

    Yes.... all the pokemon are so wierd now. My favorite generation was the first. All the memories....... But anyway D/P would be really good if they had better pokemon.

    they must have run out of SIMPLE ideas, so they had to get complicated and detailed. BUT, they may be trying to appeal to a different crowd, different people. either way, i dont like the new pokemon...
