On a side note I am going to be purchasing dart frogs in the coming months to keep as pets. I am working on fixing their vivarium up right now. (have plants to obtain and settle in before getting the frogs)
Mixing my own substrate as well, which is more of a pain in the neck than it sounds.
That strawberry dart is a dendrobates pumilio, and I will very likely be getting a bumblebee dart which is dendrobates leucomelas. I'm so excited

If you prefer option 1 I'll appreciate it if you stalled a bit for me, it's awkward to do so many things in a single post.
I only fight with Ed, actually. And only because he fights with me. And it's funny the way we both get so angry with each other.
You can join in if you want to, and I can stall for time by bringing the Master or Daerid in for a bit of a tussle.
If you prefer to wait though, thats fine too.

Also, I might point the following out, in regard to the above: Since lycanthropes are creatures of the God of Chaos (Loki) they can evolve and change in chaotic ways. They are not unchanging creatures of order, so they don't have the same constricting laws.Originally Posted by Ninetails 009

A side note about mages:
I was asked how magic works in this universe, and I thought it best to put it out there for everyone to see. Also, a bit of history of the races.
Loki and Themis are the gods of Chaos and Order respectively.
Since both gods are on the physical plane, there is a constant seep of these two powers into our plane and they constantly change what they touch.Yahweh pushed Order and Chaos into distant Planes which are ruled by Themis and Loki respectively. Though they are segregated, the essences seep continually from their prisons and the energy of the Universe is created when they collide. Lucifer and all the Archangels and Angels are products of this energy.
Chaos is unpredictable, and Order is the stuff Law is made from. Order is the dominant force in our plane, but chaos does hold influence as well. When a calf is born with two heads, chaos had a hand in it. When a man falls down a flight of stairs and suffers not even a bump, chaos had a hand in it. When a woman chokes to death on a single feather, chaos had a hand in it.
Chaos is neither good, nor evil. But it is always unpredictable. When these two forces collide, a great energy is made.
As these powers are constantly present in the physical plane, they have changed it greatly. Chaos shaped the races, 13,000 years ago when Loki and Themis first came to reside here, only humans existed.
Elves were made by Freyr in his image. He placed them in Elfheimr away from the lands of men and away from the influence of Order and Chaos. Elfheimr is unchanging. Some few that live in our world still have the knowledge of this place and may come and go, but on the whole the knowledge of the passage and their history was lost to them. The ones who came to the lands of men lived first in The Fingers and eventually spread out and ruled The Kingdom of Caralain, which has now fallen thanks to the Mages of the Onyx Tower. (more on this will unfold in the RP through my character Camilla)
The Jotnar are products of men touched directly by the pure power of Chaos as wielded by Loki. They include: Yeti, Goblins, Trolls, Orcs, Ettins, Abominations, and etc. Every manner of humanoid beastie is included though not all are monstrous. Some are just different from humans.
Gnomes and dwarves are variations of humans that evolved independently from their main branches on their own. The dwarves of the north were separated and changed slowly over time through a closed gene pool.
The gnomes have a similar history.

Mages are children of humanoids (or elves who live on the plane of man) born with the Spark. That is, they can sense and harness the energy created when Chaos and Order collide.
Since mages are born with the Spark, not made and thus are considered the only "natural mutation." They will typically display some form of psychic power very young. These powers include telepathy, visions, telekinesis, etc. A mage from the Onyx Tower will find them relatively early, and take them to the tower for training. A fully trained mage can master in one of these categories of expertise:
Elementalist
Healer
Necromancer
Elementalists are the most common and may control Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. Healers are rarer may control all of these plus Spirit. Necromancers are extremely rare and may control all of the above plus Life and Death magic.
Very strong Necromancers may control all forms of undeath, including vampires. They are the only ones who can heal vampires.
Some few can sense and control the powers of Order and Chaos themselves. Not the gods, but rather the energy they produce and reign sovereign over. These mages are extremely rare, as in once in an Age rare. They may control all of the elements, plus Chaos OR Order. Naturally, Themis or Loki would take a keen interest if a child of man suddenly started wielding the same energy they do so this mage would likely be touched by a god in some way.
Magic is a product of chaos AND order, so at times it will be very predictable and do precisely what the mage told it to, and others a spell can evolve in it's own way. A simple fireball may turn into a raging fire and consume an entire town, or it may fizzle out completely before reaching its target. This isn't all that common, but the energy harnessed to create the spell can control it once it leaves the mage's grasp.
Point in Case: Anansi. He's a completely different person than what he was before.

Finished my introductory post. ^^ One or more of you goblin hunters mind coming in to find me? It's a bit awkward if I just went out and said that I would be joining you all.
There is a sign up sheet for the quest because it was given by the bartender of the inn. So you can just sign up and join in and introduce yourself that way. I just made a post, my character did just that.
She went looking for work and the bartender told her about it.

Isha specialises in Life, Air and Water magics, healing those around her and using the weather to attack and defend. Usually unarmed she can create arms from ice if need be. She also unconsciously projects a weak magical shield around her, known as Isha's Luck. This shield subtly deflects unenchanted arrows, slows the movement of melee weapons and slightly reduces the strength of offensive spells and enchantments.
Background: Isha is the first child of a family of elves who originally lived in the frozen north. The family were accomplished healers and it came as no surprise to them that their child had the Spark, and they named her after a primitive god of healing. Although they knew the mages of the Onyx Tower would find her soon enough, they decided to try and teach her themselves, resulting in disaster, a magical backlash that killed all but Isha and her mother. Soon after Isha was taken to the Onyx Tower to begin her training. She has only recently begun her journey through the countries of the world, the better to practice her skills and acquire new ones.

Nah, too confusing and too many threads. Most of the time profiles are found within the first 4 pages, so it isn't that hard to search. Last time whenever some big-shot RPer came along and created separate threads for EVERYTHING, the RP usually ended in failure became no one cared/too troublesome.
I'm keeping my profile in a .txt so I can find it again at short notice
