I read too much Warhammer and 40K. In Warhammer Chaos are the big bad horde rampaging around and destroying ancient civilisations, and humanity are the ones who help the elves and dwarves defeat the evil horde of men and monsters. Meanwhile in 40K the eldar (space elves) went and destroyed themselves by effectively falling to Chaos. In fact 40K seems to present a much more balanced view of the various races. While there is a distinction between the good (humanity, eldar and tau) and bad (chaos, tyranids, orks, dark eldar and necrons), the good races generally act in a less than good manner, be it extreme xenophobia, exploiting others to fulfil their needs or forcing other races to join them. I know I'm looking at Keke's stories through tinted lenses, but humans always seem to be portrayed as evil, which I think is unfair.
