Appearance: Short black hair, dark brown eyes, reflective blue-lens sunglasses. Black shirt with sleeves torn off at the elbows, red t-shirt, grey jeans with black belt, solid black boots, black cycling helmet. Light build.
Personality: Arrogant and over-confident, quick tempered and easily distracted by the fairer sex. Also funny, talkative and polite to strangers.

History: Born and raised in Mauville City, Ed has lived there most of his life with his parents Nicholas and Maria Renx. Having learned battling from Wattson, he received his first pokemon from him, a Magnemite. Soon after he decided he wanted to join the police force, and after several years training and study he became a bike cop in the Mauville City Police Department.

I forgot to state I should probably accept people before they're allowed to do whatever they want, but I think I'll relax this a bit with Nocturne not being around.

I was just thinking that Renx will probably be limited to stories taking place in and around Mauville. He might end up in Slateport or Verdanturf occasionally.

He could be posted on some kind of undercover operation to Sinnoh or something.

Slateport is the only holiday destination in the Pokémon games anyway, isn't it? There are several islands mentioned in the animé which serve as holiday destinations I suppose.

Slateport, Lilycove, Fortree, Celadon, Vermillion, Cinnabar, Olivine, Snowpoint, Canalave, Hearthome, Verdanturf... All would make rather nice holiday destinations, I think.
