Yeah, there isn't anything new to the game. I mean, this is what Diamond and Pearl should of looked like to begin with. I'm expecting some major change rather than this crap. I'm disappointed with Game Freak.

If this is the best Game Freak can do with the new tech then maybe it's not worth buying.
No body really knows if the nintendo 3ds will be for a whole new system yet or if its just an add on like the gba sp. I say that becuase they have comfrmed that these games will be able to trade back and forth with the 4th gen.
The Nintendo 3DS is coming out in the spring of Japan. These Pokémon games are coming out before the end of this year. Those are months apart.
So in conclusion, these games are for at least the DS.

Maybe this is just the crazy talking, but I think that the more pokemon they have the more likely it is that they introduce ones no one will like. If you asked people what their favourite pokemon are, I bet most of them will be Gen I & II, with maybe a few Gen III and one or two Gen IV (Lucario in my case).
Except for a very few special cases such as lucario, all my favorites are spread out between the first the gens. Speaking of which, it's a bitch to beat d/p/p if you want a team of only pokemon you like.

I've been making up new pokémon for my story which takes place in a new region, the Novoh region. The legendary Pokémon are based on the seasons and the Western Zodiac.
The Main Legendaries
Winter: Dragon/Ice
Summer: Dragon/Fire
Spring: Dragon/Grass
Autumn: Dragon/Electric
The Zodiac Signs:
Ghost/Fire- 3 formes: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Ghost/Ice- 3 formes: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Ghost/Ground- 3 formes: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Ghost/Steel- 3 Formes: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
It changes forme based on the stone it's holding.
Water Stone- Aries, Cancer, Taurus, Gemini
Fire Stone-Leo, Scorpio, Virgo, Libra
Leaf Stone-Sagittarius, Pisces, Capricorn, Aquarius

yup. It's based on spring season, renewal and birth. This Pokémon will learn both leech seed and ingrain. It will also have an ability called: Heat Restore.
Climate Restore
Heals 30% of max HP between turns when a Fire or Ice Pokémon is out in battle.

They should just go full blown 3d like the stadium games, more specifically, the Colosseum games because they also had an adventure aspect.
This is highly overdue since the advance was powerful enough for this.
