    A quick reply box in PM's... With an option to clear "History" of the conversation... It get's too long, and it has to be done anyway. Best idea ever. Like?

    Agreed, shout boxes are lame. Another thing not to add, a chat room. That will draw all the attention away from the forums. That would be a no-no... unless we have a shit ton of users.

    A shout box and a chat are two different things. A chat is like a cut down version of an IM program that's built into the page. A shout box is more like a noticeboard.

    It's like public PMs. You write a message on their "profile" so they can reply to it,which will be posted on your "profile" page. The thing is that everyone can see it if they happen to visit your profile page.

    It's not like a meeting place though. That's the difference between VMs and chat.
