Pokemon crystal glitch

Hey

Do anyone know how to get the cloning glitch in pokemon crystal? can you post it?

i've heard of a way to clone using the GBC games. You have to link up with a friend and trade 2 pokemon a junk one and the one you want to clone. Initiate the trade and, when the screen says "saving," turn off the power on the one that received the junk pokemon. Both games should have the one you wanted cloned, but the other pokemon will be gone for good. I've tested this myself. It works and it doesn't mess up your game at all.

and the single player cloning: Go to a pokecenter, and walk to the PC. Save the game, and deposit the pokemon you wish to clone. Next, change the box. When it says 'saving, don't turn off the power' reset the game. When you load again, you should have the pokes you stored both in the party and the box.

I tried that but it doesnt seem to work on crystal, just on sliver...

unfortunately, I'm not sure if there is a way to clone single player in crystal. I checked gamefaqs cause that's where I learned of the gold and silver single cloning which i had forgotten about and there's only 2 cheats there, both rather useless. one is how to freeze the game clock which screws up the game. The other just says use cut on the grassy area to destroy it and avoid encounters, but I think everyone knows that one.
