That's what I said when I was about 14 or 15 and this woman with literally less than one inch of bleached white hair gave me a carrot top perm.
I said I wanted SOME BODY and she gave me CARROT TOP curls. WTF YOU GUYS and she charged me $180 for it. The salon was called "The Gilded Birdcage" and I thought I'd have a nice gay guy cutting my hair, but instead I got captain insano dyke.
I have been cutting my hair myself ever since
and I've only had a few bad haircuts!![]()

No, the tip was average, nothing extra. It was base payment for cutting his hair. Now cutting his hair wrong can only be treated by mean thoughts, other than that there are no politically correct ways to handle the situation.

Tips are for good work. Pay is for mere work.
What about waitresses, then? Do you just leave without tipping if they acted like a total bitch and screwed up your order? No, you man the fuck up and tip the 15% because that's what gentlemen do, regardless. Now for a job well done, you can feel obligated to award them a little extra. Catch my drift?

No. That's stupid. It devalues the gesture. Plus they add a service charge anyway, the bastards. If you give a tip regardless it loses its intended meaning and simply becomes a 15% mark up.
That can change.

I need a break anyway. Go play with Jim.

Our tipping culture is more reserved than yours. We don't tip people who do bad jobs.
