9:32am
I administered Preston's inhalers, giving him a cheese stick and a sippy cup of juice to wash them down.
9:34am
I went to my bedroom to get the whites to throw in the wash. I carried the load of laundry to the utility room where I proceeded to put the whites in the washing machine.
During this time Preston was in the master bath doing the following:
Messing up the rug, squirting body wash, turning on the water in the bathtub, flushing the toilet, opening the linen closet and unfolding one towel.
9:37am
As I cleaned up that mess, Preston ran into the office and pulled the bookmark out of my book then banged furiously on my keyboard, pretending to type, knocking many things around and onto the floor.
9:40am
While I searched for my place in my book, Preston went to the fridge and got a cheese stick, he took the scissors from the drawer and began trying to open it.
9:42am
I took that from him and grabbed the laundry basket to take back to my bedroom... At which time he ran back to the master bath and turned the water on in the bathtub while trying to put the stopper in place. When he saw me coming, he ran to the toilet and flushed it, lifting the seat to watch the water go down.
I took his hand and held it while I turned off the tub, then lead him back to the living room where he threw a fit screaming for another cheese stick. I explained that he couldn't have another, he only needed one. He said, “Okay.” and then calmly sat down to watch television.
