People who get angry over..

I've noticed that people get reaaaaaally angry when they lose on a pokemon sim..

For example, my rain dance team managed to piss some guy off because I kept beating him, another guy got so mad because my Kingdra swept 3 pokemon in a row, all 3 being pokemon he thought were faster(fail).

I've also seen people getting angry over me using Blissey and Skarmory.
Or critting with Stone Edge..


YES MAYBE I DO EMPLOY LAME TACTICS BUT I STILL WON LOL.
At least I've never had to resort to paraflinch tactics.

Yes, it's like this with every game. People go on intending to get a huge win streak and when they're owned by a team actually utilizing a strategy, they get pissed off and do whatever it takes to express their annoyance. I regularly have people leaving the room and going 'fuck this'.

Best way to troll these people is to create a stall team that includes Blissey, Skarmory and Tentacruel.

It will piss them off to no end.

Add Gliscor or Hippowdon for added lulz.

I have developed a term for such an event: Rage Quitting.

I used to see it all the time in MMOs.

Worst I've seen it in is Counter Strike, when I used to play it a lot. If you so much as grazed another player with the AWP or Auto sniper rifles, you'd be bombarded with every insult under the sun before the player disconnected. These weren't just kids either, I've been screamed at and called a 'hacker' by a guy who was clearly in his 50s or 60s, just because I kept using my mad spetsnaz skillz to headshot him over and over. Just sad.

Lately I've been noticing that rage quitting is a rather nasty habit some have of screwing someone over in Resident Evil 5: Versus. The Versus mode (for some reason), doesn't have an anti-rage quit mechanism in place which some other games have to prevent sore losers from pulling a victory denial on their opponent. Basically, if a game didn't end in their favour, they can quit the match right at the end, but before the game results show up, thus preventing the actual winner from getting their win tallied to their record.

Ugh.
