They were horrible. Maybe if they kept the secret bases on the over world in a whole new region. The Hoenn Region could be remade into a better way. Story wasn't great nor was the map.

The idea of two teams was pretty creative imo. Although the generatio of Pokemon themselves wasn't very good, the region itself, geographically, was very nice.
RS was my very favourite series out of all, (yes, secret bases FTW), but I'm really sick of remakes at the moment and RS is good as it is.
Well, judging by the past release order, like it or not r/s remakes are next after white/black. I myself loved them, with them being the games that got me into pokemon. I also think they were the last relatively good original releases.
I do agree about the map though. It could have been planned better. If you didn't have a very specific reason to go there, you could play for ages and never have to see an entire chunk of the map (referring to sea routes)

Sapphire and emerald were my shit, I would play those all the time before I had my first cellphone. The only reason I want them as remake is if they put it on the GBA and not the faggot DS (but we all know that isn't going to happen

Yes the towns where very creative and well designed, along with the caves, mountains, rotes etc. But the gym leaders could have been MUCH better.

Yes, remakes of Blue and Yellow version using the HeartGold/SoulSilver features... except everything will be in Monotone (black and white) with the same music of back then.

It would be pointless since now we have HeartGold and SoulSilver... along with FireRed and LeafGreen!
I'm sure they'll remake Ruby and Sapphire in the new style that Black and White is in.

Its been fucking years since it came out the thing needs a remake. You guys got to have your fun with remakes of your games and now its our turn. Back when I was a kid Hoenn was where it was at not Joto and Kanto those came out when we where like 5.
