    I had buddies who watched the cartoon (it's an American Anime) and said that this movie was total garbage compared to the show.
    I've heard that it was garbage from many people, people who haven't seen the cartoon and those who have.
    The only M. Knight. Shamamamloenanamamakjeayehb movie that was good that he made was "The Sixth Sense." Every other movie, was plain garbage. So this is another to add on the list.

    I got to go to the special premiere when my dad won tickets. It's over all pretty good if it was an idea of it's own, with it being based off the show it did poorly in comparison. The show totally shit on it and crushed it's dream. Appa looks like a monster where as in the show he looks like a cute giant monster. Aang looks like a monk but;


    Aang cloths are totally wrong and he looks like a mentally retarded monk. Everyone looks like ether twilight characters or the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe ones. Though I do have to admit the settings were spot on and being a fan I could tell where they were. But again everything else was poorly done. The bendings were cool at first but get tiresome later on which was a disappointment because earth bending looked like shit in the movie where as in the show it looked amusing and tough. Storyline isn't all that great, choppy and they skipped a couple of characters and events.

    I hate it when they change anime into real people/moves. It's just not that cool anymore.

    saw it last week. the 3-D was actually really well done and I appreciated it. but it's not the kind of thing to see if you're a big fan of the anime (they fucked it up) :T

    the things about the movie i hated:

    1.they CHANGED THE FUCKING NAMES OF AANG AND SAAKA!!! WTF

    2.the CGI wasnt that spectacular

    3.the 3D was just tacked on

    4.the lines the characters gave were completely laughable

    5.aang had the emotion of a dead squirrel

    6.the storyline moved waaay too fast, and decisions were waaay too abrupt

    7.the montages were like 1 scene set to a 30 second clip of music... it was like if the rocky training sequence was just 10 seconds of him punching the bag!!!

    8. it does nothing to appriciate or celebrate what made the cartoon soo wonderful...

    9. there was not a laugh at any point in the move, and the cartoon succeeded at comedy AND action


    the things i liked about this movie:

    1. the penis hair

    2. some funny cheesy lines that are really funny how bad they are.

    3. decent fight sequences.
