Are all these new people good for PD

Thabks to Hicky we gots boat loads of new people. But have we lost our small community we had before? Or is it a good thing we have lots of people.

Come on, it's also because of Lord. Like 30% of the new people are my doing, 70% of them are a snowball thing that Lord started.

It's still a small community, and I think it's destined to remain that way. PD only attracts the interest of a certain type of person and other than that there's no reason to stay, so we will only ever have a concentrated sample of the population.

The Gym League attracted a lot of new people, such as T-Rat, Transcode003, it forced The Editor and Pink-Kitty to come back and visit occasionally but other than that confined them to a Shoddy Battle server. I'm assuming you haven't heard of T-Rat / Transcode003, and there's also a fair amount of new members in general that have been joining that topic.

Where the gym league is concerned, I may return to it at some point during this Summer if you guys want that.

well i'm not cluster judging or whatever, just saying there hasn't been much worth posting to lately. i attribute that to the forum itself, not the 4 or 5 new faces floating around.

this forum has never been good with new people. you don't even know how bad it could be haha.

from what i can tell, most new people are seen as rather inferior, although i haven't seen it followed through so it's probs only said in a joking manner, but i dunno, i can't tell tones through reading something tbh

and i agree there is very little worth posting on atm, i rarely post anything outside of the gym league threads and even then i rarely think of what i say as a particularly large contribution, but i tend not to say much anyway

but to answer the question, i don't see how new people can't be good for PD, although i would say that, being one, but unless a new person is a complete dick then what harm is it gonna do the forum?

this place is actually very welcoming of new members. i think you all underestimate the shittiness of the vast majority of new members here and the outrageous infrequency of new members who arent completely awful
